10 Monster Stock Market Predictions for 2020

Prediction 10: Global Growth Returns in 2020 – 2020 will be nothing like 2019, and that means that global growth finally makes a return. 

Prediction 9: US GDP Grows at 3% in 2020 – The US economy will rebound in 2020, growing at a 3% rate after the 2019 recession never materialized.

Prediction 8: The 10-Year Yield Will Rise to 2.3% in 2020 – With the global and US economies returning to growth in 2020, the 10-year yield may climb back to 2.3%.  

Prediction 7: The U.S. Dollar Will Sink in 2020 – The U.S. dollar has been strong since the spring of 2018, but that may be about to change in 2020. 

Prediction Number 6: Inflation Will Return to 3% in 2020 – With the US dollar weakening and growth returning in 2020, it will spur the return of inflation. 

Prediction 5: Oil, Copper, and Gold Will Soar in 2020 – With global growth returning and a weaker U.S. dollar in 2020, the price of oil, copper, and gold could soar.  

Prediction 4: The Reflation Trade Will Lead Stocks Higher In 2020 – With commodities and yields rising it means that Industrial, Material, Energy, and Financial stocks will lead the way higher in 2020.

Prediction 3: The Fed Will Raise Interest Rates One Time In 2020 – The Fed will get boxed into a corner with the economy picking up steam and a Presidential election year, forcing it to raise rates in December.

Prediction 2: The S&P 500 Will Rise To 3,605 In 2020 – 2020 will be more subdued than 2019, but it appears the S&P 500 is on a course to rise around 11% to 3,605.

Prediction 1: President Trump Will Win A Landslide Victory In 2020 – President Trump will win a electoral college landslide victory in 2020 beating Senator Sanders to get four more years in the White House.
